About Me

My name is Annmarie Moseley

I am a qualified Counsellor, Registered and Accredited with the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

You may be feeling sad, stressed, anxious or depressed. You may not have the opportunity or confidence to talk to others about the things you are worried about. Together, we can work on what matters to you, because you do not have to cope with situations, relationships, anxieties, or grief all alone.

I have a special interest in helping people with bereavement, relationship breakdown, illness, disability and other types of loss, cope with trauma in their lives. I help adults manage anxiety, depression, grief, anger, guilt and shame, to find new ways to cope with the traumatic things they are going through.

I passed my level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Person-Centred) at the City lit Institute in London in January 2020.

I undertook my clinical placement at a large College of Higher and Further education in Essex, offering counselling to students. Here, I gained experience of working with a large variety of client issues and needs, such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, bereavement, trauma, autism, disabilities and complex mental health needs.

I gained my BACP Accreditation in 2023 and run a private practice in Chingford, London.

Since 2015, I have also worked voluntarily for a leading, national young people's charity, offering helpline counselling, advice and safeguarding.

I work in a Person-Centred way and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework of standards, ethics and good practice.

I undertake a range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities each year, to increase my knowledge and understanding of counselling topics, issues and research.

My counselling service provides a supportive, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings. I offer a range of counselling services, including face-to-face and Online therapy. I warmly welcome clients with disabilities.

Why not phone or email me today to ask questions about counselling or to book a first session?
